Description
A gift for thanks for the sub last year mate!Very different from the initial sketch I posted... I've lost count of the number of revisions to this, I hope it is ok.

Glad to know you was able to get it down just how you visualized it. Hah keeping vast amounts of inspirations pieces if always good for poses or costume design or sometimes even colour experiment ideas can always be a handy fallback and glad to see it appealed to your watchers too. Also sometimes something simple can work better than fancy dynamic poses etc. Just them basic understated pin up poses, that look good and show of a good profile to the character.
As for something for me, well you know the character I like best (well im sure everyone knows that) I always like seeing nice pieces of her, and the content and style really just what suits the artist best. But I just enjoy seeing all you draw and your diversity.

I see so many people trying to make complex poses work but sometimes just keeping it simple says so much more. That said, if I could pull off better poses I probably would but for now I'm happy with less dynamic action.
Well, I'm pretty sure I know what character you like the best

As for poses they are the worst when they have a lot of perspective angles in them. Normally ones thats simply a case of legs and arms bent a different way are much easier to do. A couple of the commissions I was doing was really pushing my skills cos they was more hentai themed, where you really start to learn your weaknesses. So gotta appreciate the pin ups even more

I really wanted to paint this one properly instead of just wimping out with flatter cel shading or just doing a lazy job with the airbrush like I usually do. This was an educational process and I was actually quite taken by surprise at how well the effects finished.
In doing this to try impress a certain someone (sporting a Parisian monument in their avatar) I learnt a great deal, and to them I say: thank you.

I think the butt needs more depth and a crack.

I disagree, for there to be a visible crack there would have to be a seam running down through the middle, her bottoms are quite snug as is and therefore any division between her thighs would be smoothed over by the fabric (spandex?) stretching over. I think the other thing to remember is her red bodysuit would add additional smoothness.

I wanted to suggest depth without exaggerating it. I see a lot of Mrs. Incredible pics where there's too much err, "detail" in the rear and it completely dominates the picture. This might satisfy people who fetish large rears, but for me I wanted to draw the eye upward to her face (though I kinda messed up on the bust, it's too big and takes attention away).

Ooh, ooh! Nerd moment here! I got the pose idea from Barbara Eden (one of her promotional snapshots from the early-to-mid 60s). I was truly stumped for a pose and I was flipping through my image stockpile and zipped past this pose that was just perfect. Then I started looking at elements used in classic pinups and came up with this.
I'm quite happy with her face too, this is mostly her head I designed with the last sketch, slightly modified.
The thing I'm most happy with is my painting, I tried a few new techniques here. I was very careful about different textures for the spandex/leather, heck I can't even remember if I've ever drawn hair before, not that anyone is looking at her auburn coif LOL

in what way do you find it interesting? don't females deserve the same opportunity to relax and enjoy artwork, even cartoons? True, most women are too busy to wander throughout the sites but once the kids are grown & out of the nest there is a lot more time than b4. Is your gallery more 'manly' than others, hon?
