Ok, I've had this idea since... April?
Anyways, this guy here: *generationm started a surprise art jam that mixes mythology with cartoons and darn it his first sketch was Medusa (well Candace from Phineas & Ferb as Medusa). So, I'm gonna challenge him for the spot before he even finishes hahaha

I kinda hope the colour looks all right, I'm working with my new monitor...
I do still have a little cleanup to do on this here and there (damn bleeding layers!)

I also have fond memories of Ray Harryhausen's works, which just makes this that much more epic!
The colours look alright and the background works quite well considering how extremely abtract it is. Bravo!

Thanks very much! I think my old monitor was too dim and it was causing me to make things too brightly coloured. I really wanted to do a good background but I thought I'd keep it simple and just make suggestions through abstract shapes, I'm glad it worked out so well actually
Haha, yeah, you know I had always intended to put something there and Lindsay was it, sort of as a joke I used the rather stiff model sheet reference as a joke

Well, how about this? How about I write it, you draw it and we see how it turns out? It doesn't have to be the exact cast, but we could use the style to make a nice parody story.
I'm thinking we start them out in that time period, have the heroine accidentally killing the hero. Hermes comes to her and says that she's got to take the hero's place, save the princess and marry her. Obviously she objects, but he tells her that she either does that, or explains to Zeus why the name of Perseus won't go down in the history books, and what she did to Zeus' son. Next, she goes to where Perseus was headed and fills in his role there.
I'm sure we can make lots of jokes of, "That's not in the story," and lots of sight gags and so forth. Heck, instead of a magic reflecting shield, she gets magic reflecting sunglasses and a shield. Instead of taking Medusa's head, she makes a mold and casts the head in such a way one of the snakes becomes a handle. Then there would have to be lots of screwed up moments crossing with other screwed up versions of other myths.
