Oh crap that is pretty cool you can see the the cat's whiskers extending forward! They do this so they can sense there environment. Cat's have horrible near vision so they compensate that by extending their whiskers forward. They only do this when they are pouncing so you can't really see it with your naked eye. You need a high speed camera to see it in action.

Cool! I did not know this! I do know, however, that his vision up close is extremely poor. When you place something tasty in the middle of your hand and place in front of him, he can't see it, and just sniffs around the fingertips looking confused.
