About 6 months ago my friend decided to buy and take care of a snail. So for Christmas I had no choice but to fold a box which looks like a snail. I folded it a day before giving the present so the fold is pretty messy.
I asked her to take a picture of them both.

Hideo Komatsu makes beautiful models however I think this one is not as known as it should be.

Never heard about that model before. To be fair, I haven't folded much of him, although his designs are usually very clever.

I could never seem to get the folding right with origami. I can do a few basic things like a crane and a whale... It always amazes me what people can do with a sheet of paper
