The wood and embers in the bottom right photo look like they have real flames rising between them.

Thanks, Anya. I've burned little actual pieces of wood and I've used two led lights, hidden in the oven, to create this fire effect. But I've took a dozen of pictures before picking this one

It's brilliant. I find taking photos of miniatures not too easy sometimes especially lighting.

Thank you so much. Well, If you take about 100-150 pictures of something, some of them come out good

Brilliant work. You are so talented and have such a good imagination. I think your success comes through being able to translate your thoughts into reality.

This is so wonderful Hristo! I wonder how many bricks you have made for all of your projects so far?

Thank you, May. I don't know for sure how many the bricks are, but for the Tavern they are about 1200, for the Bakery they are about 750 and for the Little Room - about 600. In fact I got tired of making bricks, so for the new projects I will try different methods to make the walls. Now I'm thinking about an adobe or а wooden construction

It looks so realistic. Do you build this as a hobby? I'm asking because I've seen something like this in museums as examples how rooms like this looked like.

Yes, I'm making my projects just as an hobby. But I've planed to make something like a little medieval museum with a tavern, a bakery, a blacksmisth's shop, a carpenter's shop, a pottery shop, etc. But I have no space for it all and I don't have the time, too.

Space and time, are there any modellers who don't have these problems? I for example know exactly what you mean.

Yes, maybe it's a major problem not only for the modellers.

Thanks, Kevin. It's the exact feeling I want to achieve. Just to make you feel you are inside my rooms

this is very impressive, especially since i have recently tried bricks myself and get how time-consuming they are

Thanks. Yes, gluing the bricks one by one is a very time-consuming process, but the final result is very realistic. But I can tell you a much faster method. You can apply some clay on the whole surface of your wall, to make a texture on the entire wall, using sandpiper, brush or pieces of stone, and then to "paint" the bricks with blunt blade or whatever you find good for the job. Finaly you can apply some acrylic paint and sand it a bit with sandpaper and you are ready

oh! i had not thought that was by hand XD the latter method you mentioned was what i initially thought it was(and that is still time-consuming and hard too)

Well, this method is really not so time-consuming. I've managed to make a wall 13x16 cm in less than 30-40 minutes. But if you want to see my real method to make the walls you can see here:

There are about 1200 "bricks" glued one by one in a few days
