Seguro que ustedes conocen a este amiguito, es Batty Coda! o Murci Logo (como era en el doblaje en español ) de la pelicula Ferngully/Las Aventuras de Zack y Crysta, sin duda uno de los personajes mas extraños y mas asombroso que me ha tocado ver. Este dibujo lo hice el domingo de la semana pasada, como no tenia ideas para dibujar a los personajes que siempre dibujo como Wildo, decidí intentar dibujar a otros de mis personajes favoritos que no habia dibujado antes, el primero fue Merlin [link] y después pensé en dibujar a este amigito, ese dia mis papás se fueron a trabajar y mis hermanos se fueron una fiesta tuve un tiempecito para hacer este.Siempre me han gustado los animales, por eso Ferngully fue una de mis peliculas favoritas, pues se hablaba sobre el bosque y daba el mensaje del cuidado de la naturaleza, trataba serios problemas como la contaminacion y los experimentos con los animales de una manera realmente conmovedora, seria pero tambien amena y entendible para los niños. Yo vi la peli cuando era niña, y recuerdo que fue asombroso! fue realmente una pelicula epica, siempre me encanto ese fuerte sentido de amar a la naturaleza que transmitia la pelicula, de ver la naturaleza en todo su esplendor y amarla, y asi "cuidar lo que uno ama" y en la pelicula Murci siempre fue mi personaje favorito Me gustaba el personaje porque tenia una personalidad muy calida, era buena onda, honesto, leal y muy protector con sus amigos ( los que conocio en la pelicula que eran Crysta, y despues Zack) y era audaz y valiente cuando debia serlo! Es decir, que en la pelicula, aunque el le tenía miedo a los humanos, AUN ASI rescato a los personajes principales cuando estaban en problemas! y eso es muy loable, pues no es lo mismo ser valiente que no tener miedo, es dificil tener miedo y hacer lo que debes....y además de eso era muy divertido! Recuerdo que cuando era niña y vi la pelicula me impresiono mucho las secuelas que le dejaron los experimentos que le hicieron en el laboratorio; la antena en su cabeza que sintonizaba estaciones de radio y hacia que su personalidad cambiara, y pensé "cielos! pobrecitos animales, debe ser bien gacho cuando experimentan con ellos" realmente me senti mal por el, y pensaba que me hubiera gustado tenerlo como mascota en un murcielaguero (o sea una casa para murcielagos, como una pajarera) y poder quitarle esa cosa para que viviera una vida normal..pero era una especie de dilema saben, es decir porque era algo contradictorio; pues esa especie de antena era lo que le hacia ser gracioso! (en la mayor parte, porque tambien sus comentarios sin el efecto de la antena eran graciosos) y de algun modo era parte de su personalidad ya, asi que tambien pensaba que si se la quitaban tal vez mucha gente pensaria que no sería el mismo
Solo vi la pelicula una vez en español cuando niña, y después no la volví a encontrar pa rentarla otra vez, hasta cuando fui adolescente tuve change de verla en inglés, en Golden creo...y cuando la ví en inglés me fascinó la voz de Robbin Williams!! y es curioso pero, aunque la voz de de Murci en español era genial...Robin Williams es Robin Williams! Y su interpretacion como murci es simplemente gloriosa!!! Era totalmente otro Murci, o mas bien, Batty!! ...Y ahí fue cuando literalmente me enamore de e!!! al oir su voz en ingles pude apreciar mejor su personalidad y me di cuenta de otras cosas, como que el era muy inteligente saben, a pesar de su falta de autocontrol; sabía cosas que nadie mas sabia como de que especie era y que es la gravedad (en inglès cuando se cae del arbol dice "La gravedad funciona" en lugar de "funcionó") y tenia un ingenio muy agudo y por eso sus comentarios eran muy divertidos y atinados; por ejemplo cuando zack dice " Oh, we've got air!" y batty responde "Yeah, if you dont mind getting all you minerals in one breath" o cuando crista intenta devolverle a zack su forma humana y lo convierte en varios animales y Batty dice "Ohhh! It's Darwin's grab bag! Y lo admire por eso y tambien porque me di cuenta que era alegre a pesar de lo que le hicieron! pero sobretodo, me asombre mucho pues me di cuenta de que no era solo "bueno" sino que tenia personalidad, una muy calida, ingeniosa, y adorable personalidad!
Creo que Batty es un personaje muy subestimado, es decir, casi a todos los que les gusta es porque es gracioso, y creen que es por el efecto de la antena, pero cuando no estaba bajo el efecto de la antena el es gracisos, y se destaca su personalidad que es muy calida, se puede ver mejor con la voz de robbin williams! Su voz es calida y suave, y muy dulce tambien, la voz en ingles refleja mas su noble naturaleza. Un buen ejemplo es la escena donde crysta va a Monte Peligro (despues de que se todos se conocen y el canta su rap) y en inglés le dice "Mount Warning is not a place where a nice little bug like you wants to go!" y realmente se siente que esta preocupado por ell. Me gusta toda esa escena en especial desde que dice "My heart! Oh my heart!" y ese dialogo cuando Crysta quiere que vaya con el y el le dice " What a fabulous idea, except... whay don't you stay here with me?" me derritio el alma, otro dialogo que se oye muy tierno en ingles es cuando dice " Let's stay here, it's nice here. Hey, you got a great set of wings, let's just flutter for a while" y se rie. creo que esa es la escena en que se puede apreciar mas su personalidad, sin duda, Batty es realmente adorable con la voz de Robin Williams! :aaw: <33333333 solo vean la peli en ingles [link] y veran que si es cierto!
Bueno, para hacer este dibujo me puse a buscar fotos o clips de la pelicula en youtube para ver como era porque ya no me acordaba, y encontre algunos videos suyos, pero lo raro es que que no pude dibujarlo viendo las fotos, porque se veia bien gacho!!! asi que mejor solo vi los videos y luego me lo imaginé....y que creen?!! Me encontré hasta la pelicula! en los dos idiomas, en español y en inglés!! Y si me lo preguntan sí, está en español latino. Fue una grata sorpresa encontrarlo en los dos idiomas, pero me sigue gustando mas la version en inglés, realmente extrañaba la voz de Robin Williams ^^

I made this one on Sunday last week, since last week I had no ideas to draw the characters I usually draw like Wilt so I decided to try to draw others of my favorite characters that I had not drawn before, the first was Merlin [link] and that day I drew this pal, I had time cos my parents went to work and my brothers were to a party.
I've always liked animals, so Ferngully was one of my favorite movies because it was about the forest and gave the message of caring for nature, it treated serious problems like pollution and animal testing in a really moving way, serious but also entertaining and understandable for children. I saw the movie when I was a kid and I remember it was amazing! it was truly an epic film, I always loved that strong sense of love for nature that conveys the film, seeing nature in all its splendor and love it, and thus "take care what you love", and in the movie Batty always was my favorite character I loved the character because he had a very nice personality, he was so cool and funny, honest, loyal and very protective with his friends (those who he met in the film, Crysta, and Zack later) and he was so bold and brave when he should be! I mean, although he was afraid to humans, yet he saved the main characters when they were in trouble! and that was very laudable, because it is not the same "be brave" that "not to be afraid", it's hard to be afraid and still do the right thing!
I remember as a child I was very impressed with the aftermath that left him from the tests and experiments they made to him in the laboratory; the antenna on his head that can tune in radio stations and makes his personality change, and I thought 'My God! Poor animals, they should spend really rough times when people make experiments with them!" I felt really bad for him and I thought I would have liked to have him as a pet in a kind of home for bats (as an aviary) and to remove that thing from him so he can live a normal life...but it was a kind of dilemma you know, it was something contradictory, because that kind of antenna was what made him funny! (well, in part, cos also his comments without the effect of the antenna were so hilarious too, I think even more, specially for someone cultured) and somehow that was part of his personality, so I also thought that if it was removed, maybe a lot of people might think that he wouldn't be the same
I saw the movie in Spanish only once as a child, and afther that I never could find the movie to rent it again, but when I was a teenager I had the change to see it in English in TV cable Golden I think... and when I saw it in English I totally loved Robin Williams voice!! and it's funny but, even if the voice in Spanish was so cool I love English voice even more than the spanish one! ...Robin Williams interpretation of batty is truly glorious!!! totally awesome! simply esctasy! Murci was entirely another Murci, or rather, Batty! ...And that was when I truly fell in love with him! deeply love to hear his voice in English let me to see personality better and I noticed other things. I realized he is rather intelligent despite his lack of self-control, and cultured too, you know, he knew things that nobody else knew like what species he belongs or what's gravity ( he said "gravity works" when he fals form the tree) and he had a very sharp wit and that's why his comments were SO funny and rigthly, for example when zack says "Oh, we've got air!" batty answered "Yeah, if you dont mind you getting all minerals in one breath" or when crysta tried to change Zack to normal and she turns him human renditions of random animals and Batty says "Ohhh! It's Darwin's grab bag!" I admire hims a lot for that but also because I realized that he isn't just "nice" but he's got a really warm and sweet personality! : love: aww: and it was amazing that always remains in a relatively happy mood through the entire movie regardless of his past!
I think batty is a very understated character; almost all people say they liked him because he's funny, and think all his personality it's from the effect of the antenna..well, I loved all of "the antena thing" it's really interesting and amused, but I mean, when he's not under the effect of the antenna he's funny too, and there is when brings out his really warm personality, I could see it better with of Robin Williams voice! His voice is really warm, smooth and harmonious, really sweet too, the voice over in English reflects his cuteness and good-nature. A good example is the scene where he goes with Crysta (after he sings his rap) and he says "Mount Warning is not a place where a nice little bug like you wants to go!" and it really feels that he's very concerned about her, it's like he was saying "please! Don't go it's dangerous!!". I loved all that scene especially when he says "My heart! Oh my heart!" and that dialogue when he says "What a fabulous idea, except...why don't you stay here with me?" Oh! that that dialogue melted the soul, seriously, when I heard it I just wanted to hug him and kiss him! <33333333 Other very sweet dialoguie, when he says "Let's stay here, it's nice here. Hey, you got a great set of wings, let's just flutter for a while" and laughs, trying to convince her to stay there. I think in that scene we can see pretty good his personality, with no doubt, Batty is really adorable with Robin Williams voice! <33333333 if you want you can see the movie here [link] you'll see what I've said it's TRUE!
Well, to make this drawing I looked for pics or clips on youtube to see how he was because I didn't remembered the movie very much, and I found some pics and clips, and even the movie! but it's funny that I couldn't draw him seeing his pics, because he was a bit odd when I tried to draw him seeing the pic! so I just saw the clips
and then I drew him without seeing nothing! later I found a Spanish version from mexico...Lucky me! It was a pleasant surprise to find it in both languages,
but I still enjoy most the English version, I really missed Robin Williams voice, so it was
really wonderful to hear him again ^ ^
It's funny but now I noticed another thing when I saw the part 1 of the movie on youtube (because I didn't had time to see the other) is that Crysta was very flirtatious it's that, her movements were VERY suggestive, the way she fly, and his gestures with his hands and legs, I don't know if it was intentional or it was simply because she's very feminine, but it's true! now I understand why a lot of guys fall in love with her ......and I also noticed something else, that Batty is very dashing, so polite and gallant (just check
when he introduces himself and tells Crysta "bonyour")...and SO sexy too!: XD:...believe me it's true! He's do sexy because of his warm and sweet personality, but also when he sings his rap he made some really sexy gestures! XDD hugging a few fairies while singing! For example where he says "I like rap but I'm a mammal" when he says "mamal" he
"wraps" a fairy girl with his wing and makes a gesture that OOOHHH GOOOONESSS!!!!!! Whenever I see that gesture
it makes me shudder with excitement! Seriously! I think his personality without the influence of the antenna would be more snazzy and sophisticated, yet cute too, maybe like Dr. Cockroach form Monsters vs Aliens possibly the dream boyfriend every girl would want...Just like Merlin or Dr. Cockroach!
