Description The first time I tried to do this recipe, I'm glad it came out well! So I took a photo to celebrate the event *chuckles*

Photo taken in January of this year.

I haven't had time to draw, and not even a computer to use (cos now my dad's computer it's the one who doesn't work, and then he's using the one I use) so last sunday I went to the beach with my brother and 3 little girls who are the daughters of one of my mom's friend. We spent an incredible time there, I even took them to see the animals in a near coral reef! And my brother has fun too seeing marine animals. It's the frist time that my brother take courage to go see the reef, and he said that he was missing too much

Although now I have a bit of a cold I think, but I've starting to take medicine for it.

French toast makes an excellent grilled cheese sandwich, too. Two slices plus plenty of cheese, sliced ham, a bit of onion and tomato... stars, I'm getting hungry just thinking about it.

Lol, maybe you'd better avoid my gallery for awhile; a few minutes ago I uploaded a pic of the burger I had for lunch yesterday. It was rather good.

By coincidence I'm planning on making a batch of stew here fairly soon, as soon as I can drag myself to the market to pick up some fresh vegetables. Not sure what I'll be having later but it'll probably be rice-based.

I do, although I don't cook anything fancy or extravagant very often. Most of the time when I cook I just whip up something simple, very often something rice-based. Last night was a good example; a cup of instant rice boiled in chicken stock, along with a can of tuna, a heaping tablespoon of Japanese spices, and a dash of teriyaki sauce. Simple but really good, and filling, too. On the other hand, the stew I mentioned is going to be a little more complicated. I have cubed beef, pork, and goat all ready to go; if I can find a package of cubed lamb at one of the local markets I'll add that, too. Potatoes are a must for stew, as are carrots, and I plan to add onions, celery, probably mushrooms, and any other vegetables that catch my eye while I'm shopping. The meats will be browned in batches, along with the onions and mushrooms, the rest of the vegetables will get sliced into bite-sized pieces, and everything gets loaded into the slow-cooker, along with enough liquid to cover it all (probably beef stock and a little red wine) and a few herbs and spices. Six hours later, it's dinner time, assuming I'm not too worn out from all the prep work. I have no idea how much stew this idea will make but I should get 4-5 meals out of it. It'll take me all day to prepare and cook everything but I think it'll be worth the effort.
