Hiii guys! How are you doing?
Yesterday I had to work until late night, so I couldn't post a nice drawing even if it was Thursday, yesterday I had a drawing I made and I was really excited to post, but I couldn't, and I was thinking about it so I couldn't sleep, indeed I couldn't sleep well since I was in that horrible and sad situation....result? Well, since a few days I've got irritated eyes, my eyes hurt a lot! And the worse thing is that my back trouble got worse when I felt so bad and heartbroken, and now I have back ache all the day, and not just in the night as before. So Today I woke up "like a fumigated spider" as Mexicans would say And I forgot all what I was going to say about my drawing I made yesterday night because I couldn't write it in the time I was inspired, and for a strange reason I can't write in a paper since I had a bad experience with a writting of mine, so "my tape was erased" it's a Mexican saying
But don't think I'm gone or I've given up, indeed, I've left behind that situation that tormented me, cos there was something that made me remind my purpose on life! That it's to give tribute and recognizion to the people and creations that brings something positive and worthy. Well it's an interesting story I'd like to share...later, cos now my eyes hurt and I'll put maybe a cotton with icy water or tea, since people say it heals the irritated eyes...Ice reminds me my drawing it's a hint.
So, I'd like to post something cos I don't want to leave you without a nice drawing this week! What kind of host I would be if I leave this site forever as I thought before, NO! I'm back! I really appreciate you who like me and my art for real!! Who like the way I am, my personality and my spirit and my ideas and creations! I'm so grateful with you guys, and you know who you are! I owe you everything I am! You're my audience and you're my friends!...Now in these past hard and so sad moments I feel more defeated and weak, you always there gave me feedback and waited until I feel better, and that made me realize I have people here who are my true friends for real!! even if my father always told me that artist and celebrities had no friends cos people always were with them for their creations but they were not interested on the person itself...And know I know it's not true! Cos I could feel your love dudes!...seriously! I could!....So I think this past "trouble" gave me something good after all!
Well, I'd like to post now something about the Zula patrol, hehe I know many of you don't know the show, but I'd like to share this drawing now cos I had a visit of a new deviant who it seems to like the show, and I told her I had some Zula art to share. I made this on June 27, 2009. It's a drawing made by pen of Multo a character of the show, and my own characters brook, with a magnetic umbrella!
I made this in a rainy day so I think that explains the rain, it's funny the fact usually when it's raining outside and I'm in home, I draw sunny scenes cos I want the sun to come out, specially when I want to go to the beach or park or to play some sports or walk, but at that day I was happy with the rain, cos in my home it was warm inside, and it was comfortable ^^ So I thought on drawing something related to rain, and I came to my mind the scene of these two characters going for a walk, with a high-tech umbrela ...Why a magnetic umbrella? Well, cos as they're aliens, I imagined they have the best tech, best tech that OURS in fact, and it wouldn't make much sense if they use a traditional umbrella, because it would be like seeing people today listen to their music with a huge "hulk of radio" in their shouders and a bulky headphones like in the 70's, when these things are obsolete now! Nobody uses them cos there are higher tech! So that's why I pictured this instead; an umbrella that works with a magnetic field that repels waterdrops! Also it is folding, so it doesn't use much space when you keep it in your closet or something. I think someone will invent something like this in the future, cos I saw in a documentary show on Discovery channel some time ago (cos I love to watch documentary show about space ) that some people in a NASA laboratory was trying to make antigravity a with a device that generated a magnetic field, and it repelled the organic things, they put water inside it, and an apple. So, I took the idea from there in case you were wondering
Well, I hope you like this, personally I'm very pleased with it, specially for the expressions and poses, and the shading even if it's with pen! And this was 100 % pure inspiration, cos you know when I draw by pen, it's because I'm really inspired to do something, it's the only way I can draw by pen, cos if I don't get inspiration sometimes I need to erase, and with pen I can't erase!
