Hi there folks! I hope you are having a good day
Deviantart just rocked me out So I am going to tell you half of what I wrote before I think.
I would like to share this drawing I started to make yesterday night, when I couldn't sleep because I was thinking on the art pieces I've been working on in these days but I also wanted to sleep cos I was going to work tomorrow So I tried to get some sleep and I was listening ot one of my all-time favorite songs "break of day" from Mr. easy, to see if I could relax and sleep, and then suddenly came to me the thought Faikel would like to dance that song, cos he likes reggae. And me too, it's one of my favorite genres of music because the rymth and melodie of reggae it's very relaxing And this genre usually gives messages of peace and love and understanding to other people.
I made the lineart and painted it a bit yesterday night, and I finished painting it today, the background was made with the oil pastels, and the other stuff with normal colors and markers, but the hair was made with glitter gel pens! And I really liked how it came out ^^ The name of the title came to my mind cos I always used to see this word "riddim" on the titles of the songs I see on my media player and I could make a cool title. It's funny didn't know what it meant, until I looked for definition to write it as part of the tittle *chuckles* And well, because the song that faikel is supposed to be dancing it's reggae, I just thought it was cool to draw him wearing this outfit the t-shirt and short it's because I've always liked purple and t-shirts of this style, and the converse sneakers cos I just thought they would look good and are easy to draw and are the ones Wilt wear
I have been made more good faikel drawings lately becuase I've always dreamed that people know him, and maybe someday someone of you would like him or even be fan of him, and I've been thinking of how my friends have made drawings of their original characters and I thought for myself "how I would except people liking Faik if I have barely made drawings of him" So, there he is, I really hope you like this drawing!
A funny fact, this is the first time I draw faikel wearing shorts it's because before a few years ago, almost all the time I was worried of mess up the legs of male characters, cos I wasn't as good drawing male legs as I do drawing female ones, but now I can draw them both and I feel really happy about this
