This is what I've been doing for the publishing contest, what I mentioned days ago. I was running out of time so the first drawings I did wasn't very good apparently, cos it wasn't accepted
So I did this one, I hope this does.And since adding this to the contest doesn't mean they have rights of my artwork (since they do this contest just for the pleasure of making art) I still can publish it, so I decided to use it for my ID now
So this solved the "problem" of what I could upload for my ID this year or if making a new ID. And if my pic it's selected, I'll have a lot of new people in the art business looking at my art! Do you imagine that?!
It wouldn't be just ordinary people, but other artist, and with luck people who might want to ask me comissions, or better, to publish a comic from me I cared about to read all the rules and all that stuff, even if they were a lot! I'm nervious...I hope I don't get discarded...If my artwork it's selected for the contest, I'll let you know so you can vote. Wish me luck folks!
For now I don't wanna draw in a good good while cos my hand hurts!
I would like to dedicated this one to cos it was thanks to his amazing work that I felt inspired to improve my digital painting, and also to practice anatomy, I've always admired his work cos his concepts and ideas are amazing, and his paintings are so detailed, he has a sense of detail that it's simply incredible!

De mon côté je suis fan de ce genre, j'ai fait cette conception de la robe parce que j'aimerais le faire en vrai un jour et de l'utiliser à l'avenir en un eventement comme du comic Con ou d'autre.

oh and yeah, I tried to do a lineless work, I'm practicing doing this more often and I think I'm improving
It's difficult for me not to paint like this, cos I have a soft spot for digital paintings, and realistic painting in general

Then you should paint the way you love to paint! Don't force yourself to paint in a certain way because other people tell you to or to make your things look like someone else's. I believe we were all designed to do things our own way, and your heart guides you toward those things. That's why all our art styles are unique!

Yeah,
I'm a bit dissapointed right now, though....I put all my heart in this piece, and also a lot of my time, I ended up with my wrist hurt for the use of the tablet, but even so, two days have passed since I sent this and it hasn't been selected...I think by now it was discarted *sigh*.....
And it would be ok that if they other who have selected can be dignified competitors, but no! Some of the pieces that have been selected have a poor quality, they look like they were painted by 5 years old kid, and the figure and anatomy it's really poor too.
I took much care on the digital painting cos to one person the one in charge of the contest said that his digital work was like vomit, and also I took care of doing a good quality anatomy cos their logo it's "excellence in figure drawing"....but all that for what? If they accept drawings of figure drawing (where the pose and good anatomy was the only requirement! It was free theme ) that are cartoony where the anatomy it's atrocious!
I thought I could win, or at least be selected! cos my art skills have improved, and also my anatomy, and seeing the other works being poorly drawing and lazily painted.....but now I think it's true some of artists from here who participated said some time ago, that maybe this contest it's rigged 
You know, I didn't believe that before, but then I haven't seen the contest in a close distance or participated before, this what happens to me now, makes me think a bit that this is true....
It was good I read before participate though, cos their rules said by participating I didn't renounce of my rights to do with my art what I would like, or any rights, so I can at least publish it here and give a bit of joy to people
And you saw it and you liked! That's what matters the most I think ^__^ So thanks again, knowing that you like it's the best thing I could get!

I thought I should have payed more attention to what the other deviants said...but I guess I wanted to see it for myself, you know how I am
Although I don't regret to participate, cos now I know what happened. Also, it was fun to practice my painting and you're right, I have another piece to add
