Hiya there folks
I would have come before, but I had a busy day at work today. Also, I spent like an hour trying to convince my dad of not doing something, he wants me to to go to chiapas and stay there a week...And he said that I can't decide where to stay because "I am like a furniture for them" and they feel the right to decide for me, just because I don't have a place to live cos I haven't found a place to live on my own yet! That's not fair I think, plus, that really offended me!!! This is the straw that broke the camel, and my patience it's over! I think tomorrow I'll go out of this house even (if I don't have money right now) so I don't get taken away from the town I love go to an strange place....but..but my artwork files! What I'm going to do! I don't have an USB memory and while I'm there I am not sure of what will happen with my drawings that are in my dad's computer that he sometimes borrows me!!! .....I guess I'll buy one, but I hope tomorrow I can get the money in advance, I don't want to go to chiapas, and mostly I don't want to face my old nemesis in the trip! Also I don't want to leave my art here....I hope I can have a good idea of how to solve this...I must have faith on God that I will....
Well, well yeah, now I'm here (and if I can't do anything and I have to go) I'd like to post this one drawing I made this Tuesday (feb 5, 2012) cos I think it was very funny, I really liked how it came out, specially the expressions! And why I'm drawing kitties you will wonder? because well, thanks to lackadaisy inspiration I managed to do great expressions on my characters again But the thing it's that now I feel like I only can draw expressions on cats...so I guess, I'll probably be drawing cats all the month!
Well, this is WIP of a comic I'll make, actually. And this scene it's about some friends are taking a tea, and suddenly this waiter comes in and sings a romantic song cos he thinks they are a couple It sometimes happens in the movies or shows that there's a waiter who sings a song the people don't want, and when I've been seen it, it's fun so, I just thought that it was going to be funny And in this particular case, so cute too
But a funny thing, the idea for this was given by a song I heard in spanish by chance, because my dad was hearing it on his cellphone, and when I heard that song I thought "the artist doesn't sings bad, but this would have sound better in French" and I suddenly got in my mind how the lyrics would sound in french, then I had this brilliant idea I personally feel very happy and excited with me doing this, and also the song lyrics! I felt more amazed when I realized I translated from spanish to French in my mind without any reference of words of the phonetics, and then I posted it on google and it sounded the same way as I imagined it....so this actually fits with the tune! I think when you can make lyrics of a part song without looking at the dictionary, you are half way of learning a new language! But it's amazing because this kind of things usually happens after years of studing, I thought I was going to take like 10 years or something to make lyrics or translate stuff right spontaneousy (even if it's a bit part of a song) like how it happened when I was learning English...but apparently no...And I'm soo really excited about this oooh my!!! I'll try to translate other song when listening to it in the future, to see if it was not a "fluke" like my family says!
I think the fact I know English and Spanish helps a lot though *giggles* Becasue French is very similar to these two. Oh and by the way, this is not all the comic, but I hope I don't have to go and I can finish it
