Description for one thing I think Cybertron would be hard to spot just simply because it has no sun and nothing to reflect. And is far away. Reading the replies apparently it does have a star of its own. And Now I know!

I was thinking of doing a shot like this of all my characters, but after the toil I went though to get this one done I think I'll give up on doing them all. Maybe just a few important ones.

Inspired by an old log of Atron and Webswipe looking at the stars. And there was some dancing in there I think.

The full body shot was a pain in the balls to do. In the original drawing her arms are way too long and it didn't strike me until I was tracing it in OC. So her arms had to be shortened... and that means both the hand poses were no good anymore. SO! For the past two days I've been trying to do nothing but redraw some hands for her... One I figured is hidden... because lets face it, she has wide forearms. I keep trying to trace the original hand but eventually just winged it and made something totally different. No worries, it looks better than the original by far.

the side view was driving me up the wall so I neglected to draw in the one bit that was turning my brain into pudding. The visor pivot. I think it looks just fine without it.

Webswipe is property of even if he isn't in the drawing, I think its only fair to say who owns him.
If you haven't figured out that Atron is mine by now you need to get your head checked out. You too might have pudding for brains.

This is cute. A resize would be better for viewing though. I like the colour and the cheerfulness.

I'm quite lazy when it comes to resizing. Additionally I'm never sure if its done or not. I'm glad you like.

I think the light from other stars would reflect off it's metal surface, but that's just me ^-^

You know I didn't think of that before. XD (I wonder if anyone goes around polishing the planet so it stays nice and shiny?)

oh... i love fun little tidbits of info.

alpha centauri being cybertron's sun originated in the marvel comic actually. strange thing is that the star is an actual solar (triple star) system and is the closest just beyond our own and is used/referenced in my science fiction stories. crazy huh?

>.>
*ah hem*sorry bout that. back to the drawing.

It's from the first page of issue 1, aye. In fairness, it's not just /your/ Sci-fi stories it features in... it's popular due to its proximity to us. ^^

If it hasn't been knocked out of orbit by some mucking about or another...

PS: This is really nice work, Atron. Very artsy feel to it. :>

GlauG In reply to Heatherbeast [2006-02-16 20:34:19 +0000 UTC]

Well, that's where Cybertron /started/. It has a sun as of Beast Machines, I think... And the end of G1 Headmasters, where it appears to be orbiting the Sun along with Earth. >_>;

atron In reply to Heatherbeast [2006-02-16 16:40:15 +0000 UTC]

XD I Think it would take a mighty big something to knock a planet out of its nartual orbit. ... but this is Transformers and they tend to bugger up their own lives more than the human race as a whole ever could. (Think of all the polution that must be in the air seeing as how everyone is some form of vehicle or spacecraft!)

Artsy! YAY! I win~
