На самом деле чешуя динозавров мельче крокодильей, примерно 0,5-1,5 см.в диаметре, и в реальности на динозавре она не заметна с такого расстояния как изображают на картинках, примерно если слона обклеить 10ти копеечными монетами. Просто сами иллюстрации смотрятся эффектнее с подобной детализацией.[url=[link] посмотри в более крупном формате, а если это распечатать на книжный разворот чуть меньше А3 формата , то выглядит прикольно.

Amazing Spino. A very creative scene
Perhaps color sauropods little cold for a far efect (aereal perspective). Their shadows seems if they closer. They look at same plane of plants of right. But shadows are differents and two trees at middle far too. Sauropods heads are very coincidental to ventral line of spinosaurus tail.
What have spinosaur in its hands? Is it an ictiosaur?, Tell us about the scene/story
What medium used?, some parts seems watercolor like.
Good animal color designs and neural apophysis concept for theropods.

At first I also thought it was an ichthyosaur, but the shape makes it look more like an Onchopristis. But of course can better tell you himself.

Hmm, in most illustrations of Spinosaurus' show the "sail" or fin as a thinner arrangement.

Most illustrations don't take into account the fact that Spinosaurus' spines don't look like that of a sailback at all.

A comparison between the spines of Spinosaurus and Dimetrodon will tell you that Spinosaurus has no sail...

's depiction of Spinosaurus here, is actually more far likely than the sailbacked Spinosaurus depictions...
