"I,Β AethelricΒ PlatinumΒ Aurum Argentum Unicornia, this-that-and-the-other (For I have many titles, and I will not trouble you with them all), who was once, not too long ago, known to my friends, relatives and associates asΒ Β 'Platinum the Lustre', 'Platinum the Precious',Β 'Platinum the Spoiled', and 'Platinum the Marble-Head' (To fellow founders Hurricane and Puddinghead I thank the last two), am now about to write this strange history of my life; beginning with my eventful youth spent in the old country, through the court intrigues that marked my early marehood and reign, pass the Windigo Crisis, the Shouting Congress and the Exodus, until I found myself, where, some eight years previously, becoming the Co-Founder of a nation where my kin and those of the Earth and Sky, live not in biased hatred, but equals in impossible harmony, and wherein I lose my royal title and rule, but gained far more in the end..."
