For me it looks more like gryphon/human friendly restaurant too. So, why not meat? Come on, ponies are civilized race, they shouldn't be trippin balls about the fact that others needs meat to survive as well.

I think the problem is that there don't seem to be any non-sentient animal species in equestria, even the rabbits show signs of intelligence....though not the dogs strangely enough (unlike the other pets Winona truly acts like a normal dog)....maybe it's dog meat, that'd be fine. I love the picture though btw.
