There was this really REALLY horrible pony story tumblr account called "Little Miss Rarity." Think "Cupcakes" Pinkie Pie, but Rarity. She err, kidnaps and kills Pinkie Pie, embalms her, and turns her into a doll. The official category is called Grimdark, and its awful. I just looked it up and it appears the comic has been banned and all accounts associated with it have been banned as well on Tumblr. I'm not sure that its banning was necessary, because I think it should have stood as an example of a fandom taken too far.

They didn't ban him for the gore. Also, pure violence and torture is not grimdark

the artist classified him/herself as grimdark in the blog, so that's what I went off of. AS for banning, I only really looked at the top few comments.I think someon else mentioned that it was the sexual content as well. and something about children? I honestly don't know. I Haven't looked for the account in a really long time.

I guess they figured that with DA and FA cracking down on cub pron and extreme graphic violence/sex, that Tumblr was a safe place. Explains why so many artists this year started dumping all their NSFW and extreme art on that site.
