The world is a place cold; fueled only by the fires of emotion. Without these emotions, naught could exist happily. Emotions are the reason for the existence of the human race, for no animal has them as we do. It is our duty to bring a sense of meaning and purpose into the world, one to replace the instinctual morass of the animal kingdom. It is our ability to add meaning to the things that we do, an ability that we must use. For when we stop using that ability, we lose the purpose of our lives and become unhappy. So we must make every effort to always have a reason to be, a reason to exist and a reason to live. If we do not have a purpose or a reason to be, we end. When everyone truly understands this, the world would be a better place. It would not be, could not be, perfect; but it could improve. So I entreat all to embrace their emotions, not suppress them for some view of society’s. For this is our responsibility to the world.
