EDIT (12-23-2015): Well, I'm sure most of you know by now that the winner of the Smash Ballot was actually Bayonetta. She may not be Krystal, but I'm still really excited to try her out. Heck, I'm just glad that we got another female character in Smash. Perhaps next time for Krystal. Also, I heard a rumor that the director for Star Fox Zero said he'd love to put her in the next game, as long as Zero does well enough to get a sequel.EDIT (4-20-2015): Wow! I'm really impressed with the response this pic has generated! Thank you so much everyone! And keep on supporting Krystal!
This took a little longer than expected. Hope it's not too late! ^^ I had some fun giving her a new outfit that incorporated some of the lines from her Assault suit.
For those who don't know, Nintendo recently announced a Lucas as the second DLC character for Super Smash Bros. And immediately after that announcement, they showed us the Smash Ballot! The Smash Ballot allows you to pick ANY video game character and tell Nintendo and Sakurai's team why they should be created as DLC for the game. Here's a link to the Smash Ballot itself.

With a new game on the horizon, it's time for the Star Fox team to get a new member in Smash Bros! So for all you fans of the blue vixen, now is your chance to get her into the game as something more than just a trophy! If you do vote for her, I'd say focus on her unusual weapon, telepathy, and that Smash could always use another female character, especially another that is not a human. She also could be the first female with a ground quake style attack too!
As for the rest of you voting...I'm just excited to see that fans around the world have a chance to directly tell the developers who we want. It's a very exciting time to be a Smash Bros fan. So get out there and do your duty! Vote for your favorite character to get in!

I like this style of clothing not revealing not 'sexy' and just good looking it doesn't hide her form ,but it doesn't show off too much and it looks badass. Her assault clothes were crappy if you ask me her adventure clothes were revealing but adequate , her assault clothes well let's just say people take waayyy to much liberty with her upper chest on that armor. This is what she should have always been wearing in Starfox or something like it

I like the outfit you gave her, fits well with Fox and Falco's. But i don't think they'll go that route, as their designs are from the 64 game. They'll most likely would just use her Assault design.

man I have lost all faith in smash because they have put all characters in but her.

Hello fellow, I am also one, who - at the moment knowing about the ballot - got the thought: KRYSTAL FINALLY IN SMASH!!! So I voted for her. I am actually gonna place several votes for her, since I don't think they really can analyze if different votes came from the same person. It would be incredible to have her in the game, I have already seen her in a emulated version of SSB as a skin for Fox' moveset, and already that was awesome. I think there is a huge chance that she will appear, unless Nintendo has some problem with her, since she was never put in the lime light in any way.
Your drawing here is absolutely great, although the combination of her clothing doesn't work for me, but that could be taste. I'd say EITHER assault suit or something similar to Fox, but I personally like her Assault suit, though the cleavage and the heels are stupid. I have drawn her with a modified suit, check my gallery, you'll like =3
Anyway, even though it looks a little quick drawn, it still looks like quality. All the little shadows and folds in the clothing make it look smooth. Also you didn't make her rediculously sexy, what would be a huuuuge issue for SSB. I personally hate Zero Suit Samus, for the very only reason that she seems to be only there to make male players drool. She's got such a sexiness and beauty overkill, that it's pathetic, especially knowing the basic personal background of the character. This picture here, without the jacket for me, would be a good thing to have in SSB =3

I was going for more of a graphic ink style for the image, so she and the text would match up. Though I had thought of making her suit green so it would look more like Fox's. But I wanted to give her a color none of the others had.

Well, the problem with those lists is that the pool of people they have may not be a representative sample. Only Nintendo has the actual results right now. And we don't know when or if they'll show the poll results.

That is true, but also entering in many forums or reading the comments and other stuff related with this topic, one can have a little idea about which characters are the most requested. Anyway, it would be awesome have Krystal in Smash, I think that she is a pending character since Brawl.
