it's cool but when do inquisitors were space marine armor

Atticus83 In reply to LordHellstrom [2012-04-07 05:48:45 +0000 UTC]
its power armor, not exclusive to space marines only and certainly not limited to space marine sizes as well

Power armor needs The Black Carapace Augment and space marines get that in the gene seed, so yes, its space marine only.

The Black Carapace augment is separate from the Gene Seed, there are a bunch of non-Space Marine people who wear power armor, many being Inquisitors.

Was pretty sure I read from my codex that the black carapace was part of the gene seed. Guess I will need to recheck that.

I may be wrong though, I'm more learned on the Imperial Guard than Space Marines.

Just read up on it, you don't need the Black Carapace in order to use space marine armor, but it is much less effective then it normally would be if you had the black carapace.

"Whilst Power Armour is most commonly associated with the Space Marines of the Adeptus Astartes, the Sisters of Battle and many Inquisitors also use powered armour of one sort or another. Typically, however, these armours may not contain the same strength-enhancing properties or life-support functions of Space Marine Power Armour, nor do they always provide the same level of protection."

So its downgraded space marine armor, that is not fully plated like the one in the picture.

Atticus83 In reply to Toliskar [2012-06-06 18:26:51 +0000 UTC]
it can be fully plated (see medieval armor), just does not contain the extra elements underneath it (eg. black carapace, extra body size, strength enhancers, life support systems, thickness of armor)

ah, well some inquisitors do wear just plain flak armor or carapace armor, example Gregor Eisenhorn. It would depend on which Ordo they come from, if they are from the Ordo Hereticus they probably dont need armor since psykers could melt them inside out anyway, so preferably a psychic hood or something to that effect. Compared to a Ordo Xenos inquisitor, where humans are far inferior in terms of strength/speed/agility to deal with alien races they HAVE to wear some form of armor to enhance their defense/capabilities, or just employ the Deathwatch to do it for them if they are non-Astartes inquisitors

Zebras and ponies have interbred a little bit over the years, especially in the big cities, resulting in that melting pot stuff they always talk about.
And by zebras and ponies, I'm drawing comparisons to modern humans.
(And the KKK can go get Death Note'd 'cause it's impossible to be all-white starting from the beginning of Homo Sapiens. )
