Okay. I just wanna say that you've inspired me to do this. I've wanted to cosplay Haseo for a long time... but I was torn because Scythes are my favorite weapon, but I wanted to do his first form. So I was like D8. But after seeing this... I just said "Screw accuracy, I'll do what I want!" So, thank you. n.n
I do have three little questions though (I'm sure you get these all the time, so forgive me!)
1. How did you attach the high-collared part? Is it actually a part of the top, or is it separate? And how did you get it on and off? Did it fit over your head or did you use velcro or something?
2. What did you use to make the wave symbols? Is it marker or body paint or what?
3. What did you use to make the gold belt ends? Is it some kindof sculpting stuff + paint?
The rest should be simple enough, was just wondering what worked for you ^^ Thanks again

The collar was seperate....it just..rested there.
Uhh lipliner i think...and photoshopped in some pictures.
My belt ends were verryyyyyyy crude.
I made one out of sculptey....then cast a mold of it with plasterofparis....then filled the mold with just hot glue gun glue.
I'd sayyy....anything would work really...if you're good at sculpting even model magic could work.
I originally had bought casting resin to do it butran out of time.
Just plan to spend a lot of money on buckles. I think I ended up spending 60-70 on them. Gah.

it was just pvc pipe and foamboard but..it snapped when i got it out of te car..so i duct taped it XD *not sturdy at all*
Of course I am..still woring on my costumes. 2 in a week...bad idea XD

holy cow! 2 in a week, that sounds crazy lol... I can imagine the sleepless nights -.- My fastest one took at least 3 months T_T... but then again I didn't work on it everyday and there was major procrastination in between haha...
Ah, I used foamboard for all of my weapons too, but for some reason your's look more sturdy haha, at least yours look llike it can actually hurt someone when you smack them over the head with it =.=... mine looks it'll just snap haha.
Did you cover it with fibreglass or anything?
What type of paints?
