Magnifique ! I browsed through a lot of your stuff, and this one swept me off my chair because you managed to capture the vibe of Harlock (Albator in french btw) and the ship is stunning in the background...
somehow you managed to take advantage of your strength (colors and stances) while hiding your (relative) weaknesses (anatomy and faces). Just like Harlock's personality

C'est amusant parce que celui-ci, c'est le seul dans lequel je n'ai pris strictement aucun risque créatif. Je me suis contentée de recopier des trucs qui existaient déjà sous la même forme (en l'occurrence, une figurine - c'est sa pose exacte - et une capture d'écran).
Mais bref. Merci, en tout cas.

(Well, it could be. I reproduced my Play Kai Arts figure, mixed it with my Harlock gravity saber because the real gravity saber is better, and took some liberties with the shadows. Who cares, btw?)

He's lovely, as usual. You've done a nice job of incorporating the new with your own style of Harlock. The armor makes sense. I have long wondered why he didn't have any, as any other knight - space or not.
I assume you've seen the movie. What did you think? I was a little dubious about the change in heroism for him. Does it work? Or does it make him less noble than the Harlock we all know and love?

Well, it works for me, because I've always thought that Harlock was less noble than we believed. After all, he is a pirate...
But clearly, in the movie he is different. He still wants to protect the Earth, but he has his own logic. And the ways he chooses are more... destructive.
