I really like these variants, I think your choice of colors and shading are lovely, but my favourite part has got to be the character and action that is going into each subspecies (I especially like the Machamp one for it unique form, I like how your approached that one) Personally I have trouble drawing Alakazam so I'm quite impressed

Loving it. May I ask how you decided on the breeds?

First, I look at the Pokemon that are actually compatible breeding with Alakazam (in this case, it's pokemon in the humanshape group). Then, I try to make sure I'm getting a good smattering from all across all gens (not just gen 1 or 4). After that, I look at ones that kinda either spark an inspiration (Machamp immediately made me think of Shiva or a mustached muscleman, especially since Alakazam looks very Hindu in origin to me) or I think might be challenging that someone might not normally cross (Like Spinda, in this case). In your case also, I knew you wanted a robotic one--the two closest that leaned that direction were Beeheeyem and Bisharp. The changeling one was actually the most out of left park--at first I actually had sketched up a different mix (Alakazam + Electivire) and was going back through the list when I saw Volbeat. After sketching a couple spindly looking Alakazam + Volbeat, I knew that it felt right and just had to do it.
