I was so happy to see my friend Amazing Surf back in the mix (Thanks AnnaKirsten ) It was like welcoming an old friend home. I immediately got to work dialing the parameters into those ASurf Snail shapes that I somehow never get tired of. When I stumbled across this 'fat' pair I knew this was the one
I deliberately rendered in larger chunks (larger DE Stop) to really bring out that crosshatch pattern which seems to be tied with the _SinY settings. In some cases, I was getting these wild, wooly versions of everything - Like it's growing moss. I know I'll spend more time exploring this stuff!
One of the other renders which I also quite liked, and was a close second choice for my official Chain Pong return, is this one:

I hope I didn't disappoint. Asurf is my most difficult formula and I nearly had a panic attack when Anna selected it! Oh well, I need the practice to get over my fear of this formula.
