I wanted to introduce Kakuzu's love for money early. And you can see why he grows up the way he does. Because as A child, getting the possession of money, (no matter how small the ammount) only meant one thing: Food. He assocaties money with food.
Possitive renforcement.
Latter in his life he probally realizes it can buy other things. So this is probally the conclusion he comes to later in life.
Money= Food
Food= Happiness
Money=Happiness
Kakuzu gets pittied by Old folks and middle aged folks, doesn't he? But he gets picked on by the kids.
Did anyone notice that when Kakuzu talks to other people, he tends to say "um" and stutters alot? Well... we all know he's shy. But that's probally a result of his low-self-esteam.
BTW: OMG! WHY DOES MY RANDOM PERSON LOOK LIKE ITACHI!
I just now realized that. 
Trust me, it's not Itachi... =_=; I didn't realize it looked simalar to him when I finished drawing him.... Well... He doesn't have those weird bangs, so we all know it's not him I hope. 
The random people are invading....

It's just the ponytail... He doesn't look that much like Itachi...Poor Kuzu-chan...
And I was reading this one book on psychology about how those connections are made in a child's mind and it helps decide their future and junk... It's really interesting how children's minds work. It really makes sense here.

=_= I do have reference for backgrounds... but they're all in my sisters room on my old computer. I'm not allowed to use her computer for reference pics, and printing them wastes ink and money.

I wish I could get more reference pics like I used too... but now I draw upstairs without any reference... But I have a couple Hidan and Kakuzu printed pages form the library, but I REALLY need more background stuff... T_T

what I do is search up somthing like "dark forest" on photo bucket or here then open up paint (or mah scetch book) and start copying and getting ideas off of it
I save mah ink that way XD it works trust me
and when I'm not on the computer and I wanna draw I just close my eyes and think about the senery or just listen to my ipod and somhow it'll all come out it just requires imagination XD
and I under stand how you think its a waste on money to print stuff I think that to (I sound like kakuzue and hidan combined all day I got used to it XP lol)
