another addition to my jsr2 image series!
these girls are named "the Gamblers" for obvious reasons
if anyone viewing this image has played jet grind radio, or jet set radio future you'll understand the idea
if you haven't, BUY THE GAMES!!! They're so worth the money
jet grind is on the dreamcast, and jet set is on the xbox (this is the one I recommend), there's even jet grind on the gba
you play as a member of the gg's gang, and tag all over the maps, grinding your way through some amazing levels
as far as this pic is concerned, if I were to design a gang for another JSRF installment, the gamblers would definitely be there.
but since I'm not, I want to make a jsr2 (jet set radio 2) fan comic. I dont have all of the details worked out, or know how I'll find the time to do it, but I'll continue posting related stuff like this regardless ^__^
okay, so I haven't figured out how their tags would look yet (if you give it a shot, note me! it would just say "gamblers" and probably contain 2 dice hitting snake eyes, or just the dice, or just the word gamblers.)
that said, hope you like!
(on a side note: I'm not hiding their faces... you'll see 'em at some point. but they're just cute girls, nothing out of the ordinary)

i'd have to say the jsrf designs I like better
it seems like the designers kinda "came into their own" on that edition and didn't hold back any creativity ^^

Nice work, I own Jgr for DC so I can relate to this pic. Two things: the visual-right knee on the center figure looks almost non-existant; it appears to be buried deep within her leg; I did some knee studies a while back(there in my scraps) so I'd recommend the same. The other is that they all appear to have identical costumes except for the figure in the right, she's missing the blue pad; was this intentional? Anywho, great overall compostition, balance, and unity. I especially like the highway bridge behind them; it gives me memories of 'Patlabor 2' for some odd reason. Nice job.

the missing pad was intentional (although if I knew this would be DD'd I'd have put it in there)

This is freakin' awesome. As a big jet set fan too, I say these women would make a cool gang, definatley. The way you gave the buildings and bridge an eastern look just sends an image of power. You know like it's their territory and no one else's. I am no artist (I would prefer a camera or pen any day), but it is obvious you you did a good job with many aspects of this. The background and color are without a doubt what standout to me.
