another addition to my jsr2 image series!
these girls are named "the Gamblers" for obvious reasons
if anyone viewing this image has played jet grind radio, or jet set radio future you'll understand the idea
if you haven't, BUY THE GAMES!!! They're so worth the money
jet grind is on the dreamcast, and jet set is on the xbox (this is the one I recommend), there's even jet grind on the gba
you play as a member of the gg's gang, and tag all over the maps, grinding your way through some amazing levels
as far as this pic is concerned, if I were to design a gang for another JSRF installment, the gamblers would definitely be there.
but since I'm not, I want to make a jsr2 (jet set radio 2) fan comic. I dont have all of the details worked out, or know how I'll find the time to do it, but I'll continue posting related stuff like this regardless ^__^
okay, so I haven't figured out how their tags would look yet (if you give it a shot, note me! it would just say "gamblers" and probably contain 2 dice hitting snake eyes, or just the dice, or just the word gamblers.)
that said, hope you like!
(on a side note: I'm not hiding their faces... you'll see 'em at some point. but they're just cute girls, nothing out of the ordinary)

"Snake eyes looking you" Is'n that a Motorhead's song? Anyway, this is also fav material, but not yet, I still wanna that white haired bomb shell a bit longer in my front page.
I'll look for the game, but I don't think I wanna gamble with girls that dosn't even had pants to lost. Because if they had no money, not even to buy pants or skirts, what they gonna give me if they los...? Thinking again, there is something they can give me if I won, somethin they have and I like a lot about them: those very cool hats, hehehe.

I know you have soooo many comments on this one already and the things I enjoy about the picture have been brought out 50 times over I'm sure but here goes..
For some reason I really like the way this one looks. The way they are all positioned and I adore their outfits. 
On a side note; although I never got to play the xbox version I did play it on the DC

I really love this painting. I read your spicy curry brush tutorial and was wondering, did you use the same brush for all the backgrounds as well? The weathering on the concerte looks very good, did you achieve that with any specialty brushes?

same brush actually! the only difference is maybe turning on the "wet edges" option, and paint your areas a little more loosely/quickly. When you do that it gives things a streaky weathered look, as opposed to skin which I spend a lot of time smoothing ^^

Holy awesome! I love Jet Grind Radio! What a fabulous, underappreciated game!
The xbox one kinda sucked though. I mean, the character designs and levels got cooler (which is no small feat), but if there's one thing worse than the Dreamcast controller...it's the xbox controller. Hate that thing, even the "s-type."
On top of having to play with that beast, they screwed the control scheme up, as well as the play mechanic.
Using paint cans to boost sucked, the boost being rocket-freaking fast sucked (sucked to play, even though it looked awesome), NOT getting to use the control stick to tag sucked. Made me sad.
But I really really want you to do a fan comic. I'll buy it. Seriously. I love that style and setting and those characters.
And yours are rad. So DO IT. Please.

wha? oh man, I LOVED the xbox version. and the huge controller is my favorite of all three actually XD though my all time favorite controller is the ps2 (what a piece of perfection it is)
the only thing I wish the game had was a "grind release" button. there were SO many times that all I wanted to do was STOP and the snap-to-grind wouldn't let me X_X

Yeah, that too. But man, I think you must have created the control scheme, because it was a thing only a mother could love.
The redesigns on the old gangs from the original were A++ super-rad though. Well, I mean, everything visual about that game rocked socks. But yeah...I couldn't stand the controls (not just the controller). In spite of that fact I played it for like a week straight while I was staying at my friend's house. It was like the bastard-child game of the household, no one had bothered to play it past the first couple missions, and everyone kept making fun of the music. But everytime there was a lull and the TV wasn't in use, there I was grinding something and tagging cops. Oh the cops looked awesome too.

I have to say: Sin City. Eventhought the picture isn't in bw, it brings my mind Sin City. Maybe the way you have described the girls, but also the little sensless touch there; Miller does it well, but you also. Indifference but still so selfassured atmoshphere in this picture is something, which make the whole thing so great :3
