Love is a very odd thing. Love is so complicated and yet it is so very simple. It is so simple that the human mind cannot comprehend its simplicity so we say it is complicated. And yet we are right when we say it is complicated. There are so many different parts of love that make it complicated and yet as a whole it is so very simple. Love is just a feeling of extreme passion towards another person. And yet it is so much more. It is the warm feeling when you think about them. It is the smile on your face when they walk in to your sight. It is the laughter you share. It is the joy we have when we are with them. But even though love is joy and warm feelings it is also pain. The pain of hurting them. The anger of knowing you hurt them. The jealousy of others with it. And the sorrow of knowing you have to let go. Sometimes in order to fully love someone you must let them go. Love is a battlefield who claims many victims. When you stop to look around at all the death and destruction love has caused it is enough to make you want to give up. To lie down and roll over. To hide. Wich is why many people run from it. I have seen the death many times. I have seen the sorrow, the pain, the destruction of souls. But i have also seen the beauty of being in love and being loved back. When this happens we escape the battlefield and run into the arms of another. The gentle embrace, the warmth or their skin, the joy of being there, the pleasure of a kiss. This is why we must all keep fighting. Let love not claim another victim but let love carry you around on a gentle breeze and guide you to your loved one. Let love in to your hearts and heal your wounds. Their are times when we must let go and heal. At those times it is better to heal with love then with time. Even the most simple part of love can heal great wounds. Love is our warmth and without it we are cold.
