I think the Firefly and Surprise should be the parents of Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash, since those two are based on the molds of the older ones. :T
But it all possibility "Starshine" was the most likely candidate for Rainbow Dash's mother(She was a rainbow haired pegasus pony)
and Thundercloud big brother pony as her father.
Starshine-White Pegasus, rainbow hair, sun symbol.
Thundercloud-Blue Earth Pony, purple with dark pink hair (w/ blue streak), and pinkish-purple eyes. His symbol is a white cloud w/blue raindrops & a yellow bolt of lightening.

The only thing I will say is this.
There are two Doctor Whoofs. A young teenage pegasus, and an older more manly earth pony. My theory is that the older EP was with the pegasus Derpy Hooves and thus spawned a younger EP version of Derpy, and a pegasus Doctor.
