Selkicas are an semi-open species created by TheHumanHeart and LioSKETCH

Semi-Open means that some classes will be free to make while others will be avaiable for a small fee

FREE TO MAKE CLASSESArctic
This common subclass of selkica are adapted to live in colder temperatures as well as temperate and polar regions. To help with these conditions they have the following adaptations:

-Trident shaped tail with 2 lobes
-Keratin-like horn that can pierce through ice

Tropical
This common subclass of selkica are adapted to living in warmer climates. Their habitat ranges from temperate, sub-tropical, and tropical regions. To help with these conditions, they have the following adaptions:

-Heart shaped Tail
-Allows them to swim through the water with no disturbance, allowing them to hunt efficiency in corral reef systems

SPECIAL SUBCLASSES Royal
Royal selkicas have a unique genetic code that allow them to have a combination of pelt and fin sizes since they are the leaders who go out and find islands where their people can live. To futher protect their people, they have a unique “Setus” form that they can take when they become an adult! This form is extremely large and fires highly pressurized and heated water beams.

-Can have any combination of pelt and fin length and thickness
-Can have a Setus form

Siren
Siren Selkicas are a rare subclass of selkica due to the fact they are the only class that can use magic. Siren selkicas live in small groups and are usually isolated. This class is mostly characterized by their fluke shaped tail and their nonarticulated fins or flipper in their pup stage. These selkicas devote their lives to honing their own magical ability and to learn more about the world they live in.

-Can have any combination of pelt and fin length and thickness
-Can use magic
-Fluke shaped tail
-Smooth, non-articulated fins in pup form

Nomad
Nomad Selkicas are a reclusive, but widespread subclass of selkica. Due to their nomadic lifestyle, their bodies are built for endurance and facing the elements. Nomad selkicas are naturally 2-3 heads taller than all other subclasses and have a more rugged build. They also have claws on their fins regardless of gender. Their paddle-like tails allow them to swim without exerting too much energy reach deeper depths to hunt. While they do travel alot, all Nomad Selkicas have the ability to develop bonds with all sorts of creatures, big and small, which helps on their travels.

-Any combination of fur and pelt lenght
-2 to 3 heads taller than all other subclasses
-Paddle shaped tail
-Can start out with have 3 companion pets instead of 2
-Claws on fins regardless of gender
