That actually turned into not a speedpaint at all by the time I added the background and stuff.Iii think this might be one of those pieces I liked better as a WIP than finished-ish. I might just be sick of looking at it, I dunno. Still plenty of things I could tweak or fix, but Iām shelving it for now to move on to other pieces.
So! One of my long-neglected nagas, Hemlock.

I make them up as I go along, pretty much. Everything seems to come back to that medium yellow-brown tone with me 8|

I do like the yellow-brown tone though! I'm still trying to wrap my head around earthier palettes. My default is always something that burns retinas and I want to develop a feel for palettes like yours :<
