Just fooling around in SAI last night to relax. My goblin warlock, Snakebite. Kid needs some Visine or something
Maybe some day soon I'll break this trend of "HEADSHOTS HEADSHOTS AND MORE HEADSHOTS"
But they're quick and entertaining so probably not.

I'm pretty sure that this is the first piece of art that I have ever seen featuring a goblin that's even remotely good-looking in a realistic and true-to-character way.

Um, GORGEOUS.
This seems like it has more color in it than your other stuff, like more brownish yellows mixed into the greens, it looks AWESOME. And his hair is just sooooo touchable.
Also, he looks really calm! Which is unusual for Snakebite, but not at all unpleasant. ♥

And thank you! I painted it in color this time rather than monochrome and adding color afterwards, so that might be why it came out more vibrant-seeming. That or I just fiddled with color adjustments too much in Photoshop haha.

If I may ask, how do you do the spotty texture on the skin? A layer map or something like that?

I use various textures collected from the internet (karkograffic or whatever it's called, free stock on DA, cgtextures.com, etc.) and set them on overlay and various other blending modes ontop of the painting
