I LOVE THOSE COLORS! and the lighting...

...and the fact that you can see some stars

awesome!

Your screen must be clear, because it's hard to see stars on this shot
Thank you thank you

well but i only see them in full view...
it hink it is always a little annoying with the different screen properties because every person might see pics different to how others see them...

i liked this one more than the other. The pool looks better composition-wise when it is cropped like this.

I like this one better then the other format. If only you had removed that $%&* HOMETRAINER(the bike-thingy) !!! arghhhh... well, that's something photoshop can correct

the colors are wonderful for a nightshot, mine turn out either very green or very yellow, but I hardly get a range of colors like you do. It's a beautiful shot, but I cannot help staring at that fitness-bike everytime i look

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

auree In reply to Araantonak [2005-08-30 09:28:42 +0000 UTC]

You think exactly as me, but I saw the hometrainer when I put the shots on the computer, so too late
I don't know enough things on photoshop to remove that thing from the photo.
Green or yellow ? Well you must change your white balance I think that mine were on the automatic mode, but I always test all the mode before taking this kind of shots.
Thank you for your comment :]

Araantonak In reply to auree [2005-08-30 16:06:37 +0000 UTC]

thanks for the tip on whitebalance. My problem is that my camera has only 3 wb settings: daylight, artificial light and user defined. I always use the userdefine one, which works so that I point the camera against something white (i have a sheet of paper in my camera bag) and it takes that as white. now that is great but I won't work when it's totally dark where I am

as tot he hometrainer, have a look at: [link] - version without hometrainer, you may use it if you want of course. It's actually quite easy to do with the clone stamp in PC

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

auree In reply to Araantonak [2005-08-30 19:42:35 +0000 UTC]

Artificial light setting doesn't really work when I take shots in my room in the evening so I use the userdefine one too, and it works well ^^
For night sessions, you're right, the userdefine is not adapted... :/
You're a genuis, I want to know how you managed to do that, it's so great ! I will use your version of course !

Oh, I like this shot better although the bigger glowing pool shot looks equally amazing. Maybe the angle can be improved more on the other shot. This one is really nice because there's more detail in the trees. Beautiful.

Out of the two, I like this one best. I think the new angle lets you see the trees better, and the pool looks good when it's cropped. And the night sky, even though it's blank, looks fantastic!
