Etonnant Solark
Moi j'en suis Γ chercher encore Γ savoir
comment charger des BASESHAPES sur

Hi,
To load a baseshape, open the editor in Incendia, click on 'new', then select one of the shapes. To load a mesh into Incendia, you need to select the 'mesh' baseshape, then you can load a mesh into it. Meshes in Incendia must be in STL format. I hope that helps - I really only speak/read English and a little Spanish so I am not 100% sure if I answered your question ... Regards!

Congratulations! The composition is visually arresting and your mastery of the details is very evident. Care to enlighten some of us neophytes on how you work? Did you add the background within Incendia or did you do some post production work?

Thanks so much!
Here are a few facts on this piece - 10 baseshapes used, 2 of which were meshes - all set to a depth of 6. The fractal type is an Incendia script, and I used the tetrahedron symmetry option. I made the background using Ultrafractal - It's a 1024x1024 bitmap image which can load as background image in Incendia. No other post production work on this one, but sometimes I use photoshop to brighten my images a bit if necessary. And of course, last but not least - Lots of patience letting it render - probably about 2-3 overnight sessions if I am remembering correctly. (So about 20-25 hours).
Happy new year!

Sincere thanks for sharing your expertise. I'm new to this game and it is very helpful to me to understand how experienced folks are approaching the creation of impressive works like those you produce. I delight in the fact that you made the background in Ultrafractal. Along similar lines, I have been making textures in some fractal generating programs since that too seems apropos to the theme of infinite recursion -- making all the components of the art piece fractal in nature.
