This is very nice. I love the glow in their eyes, it really shows the love present between them! The technique you used for painting Spike's skin(?) is quite interesting! It really looks as if he has scales like a dragon!
I'm looking at Rarity, and my main concern is that her body seems a little too...long. Normally, such a thing really wouldn't bother me, but because your style of drawing is very close to the show's style, it doesn't look right.
Spike in this picture looks very adorable! He just seems to have the right amount of cuddly baby dragon cuteness, I just want to hug him!

The colors pop into your eyes and are so pretty. The shading is great. It's very bright and vibrant although it can hurt people's eyes.Like glasses wearers such as myself. So for vision I put 4 stars. Great so far!
You don't see these kind of pictures with Rarity's hair straight.Also with Spike hugging her back!That is cute.The sparkle isn't as much though as the others but still special.Most dA artists use a detailed back ground but yours is simple yet stylish! I give a 4.5 for originality.
The technique wasn't that clever in my opinion. It looks fake to be honest.Sure I know we all can do better with that.It didn't seem that hard except for the bases. Technique is 3.5.
The impact is awfully great. They're gazing into each other's eyes, adoring each other.As all can see they're deeply in love.For impact I give a 4.

is that color is really done in traditional or you modify with Photoshop? goddamn man, that color is wonderful... i really love it! I just thought that's digital colored when first time i see it in my message until i click it then... O_O

Though I've thought about it for a bit, and wouldn't it make more sense if Spike were with a filly, such as Sweetie Belle (Main one rejects you, date her sister )? I mean, he IS about their age. Being a baby dragon and all. About 5 years from being hatched by Twilight, and then 2 from being in Ponyville for that long (guesstimating, yey ). Though the last Apple Family Reunion was 100 moons ago, meaning only 100 days... which is only 1/3 of a year..... Twilight became alicorn in that time?

Very neat! I think it's kind of unusual to see Rarity without her hair styled as lavishly as she usually wears it, but I think it gives this drawing a very sincere feeling, showing that Spike cares less about the mane and more about the pony underneath.
I also love how shiny you made Spike's eyes, and how scaly you made his... ummm... scales!
The only part I find underwhelming is the background. I think the dark green heart in the upper right works fine, as does the light blue one in the upper left, but the other colors and textures call too much attention to themselves I think.
