Description
This is for karzii ONLY!Man, I've been slaving over this all morning, and look at the result!!!
I pretty much had free choice for this, and I thought those colours of the cliff looked perfect with the horses colours!
Speaking of that cliff, THAT TOOK FOREVER TO SHADE! I'M NOT EVEN JOKING. I hate shading with a passion, so yes, this seemed to take FOREVER!
I really hope you like it Karzii, and I hope this is what you were looking for when you commissioned me

sorry it took me so long to comment on this! im awful D:

this is seriously amazing, and way more than i expected!
everything about this is absolutely perfect! the background that you chose is just the perfect color!
i love love love the shades of purple that you chose for the sky, next to the colors of the rocks..
it all just compliments so nicely! and not to mention.. how much detail you put into the background it looks fantastic! i can definitely tell that you worked hard on this! those rocks look amazing!
You made aspen look wonderful too.. its so nice to see her drawn, youre the first person to draw her since i adopted her! i love the how wavy and flowy the mane and tail are...
and how determined she looks! and the markings.. you got those perfect! i know shes got a pretty complicated design, but you pulled it off amazingly!
i cannot tell you how much i love this.. there arent enough words to describe... thank you so so so so much for doing this for me!

Haha, it comes with many years of practice - even now I have trouble with their hooves and ears!
The little things always annoy me the most aha!

Oh gosh, ears. Confusing things
I definitely struggle most with the shoulders for some reason. Every single ungulate I struggle with the shoulders. I think I'm gradually getting there thanks to being able to draw felines better and vertebrates having similar anatomy in general, but it's slow going! D:<

I can never get the darn shape right, EVER! It's really frustrating aha!
Hmm, shoulders?
I find that if I just follow the curve of the horses body I tend to get the shoulders pretty spot on

Lining shoulders is generally easy, especially from a profile view, but I'm one of those people who has to also include every single muscle that shows on a real creature, particularly in my full colour works, and that can get really tricky xDĀ

I love how the background matches how wavy the mane and tail is ^^ It's like a mirage!
