Kassandra, had walked right into The Counts classic traps.
The Counts, a Secretive Order had no allegiance they would compile information, and even captured Agents and sell them to whomever they deemed. However some of the Counts tended to go mad, turning to serial killers, and even human cannibalism. They would use these individuals to thwart other Agencies snooping when they would leave, and abandon a former hideout.
Kassandra, sent to see of she could scour any information left by the secretive Counts, wondered why The Counts always set up there operations in old, decapitated mansions, and homes.
Not knowing she was being watched, and stakled by Count Hugo, one of the left behind mad Counts....
