I just kept layering and used white to blend some spots... no extra technique needed with these pencils unless you choose to use paint thinner, but that's unique to these oil-based pencils. For something wax-based like prismacolor I use colorless blenders to blend my work, you can check out my Lamborghini aventador for an example of this

I draw from more than 20 years in the graphite. for colored pencils, I recently started using, I mix with a lightly oiled brush. I am French and my English is not terrible.
