Description I'm finally back to drawing again everyone. Don't worry, I haven't given up on the comic book just yet, even though I have been doing illustrations lately. I thought that in the down time, I update my lovely Sigma and Alpha Draconians that I've remade. Hopefully, these brand new Draconians are more appealing than the previous versions.

The previous Draconians just didn't look alien enough to me, so here were some modifications I have made; made them jet propelled as in, yes, jet engines; gave them two pairs of wings; and have a reduced tail for aerodynamics. Their parental race, the Carians, wanted their children, the Draconians and Dinosaurians, to be more successful than them and in result, they survived to enlightenment.

Alpha and Sigma Draconians are, believe it or not, the same species, but two different subspecies. Both can take to the air in an instant with their internal jet engines powered by hydrogen that special bacteria release from helping in the digestion of food. Their hind legs have became wings but can still use them for walking, but they still walk awkwardly since their feet face perpendicular to the body. They may be terrible walkers, but the excel at flight and maneuvering which rivals the Carians, as planned. And unlike their parent race, both breath fire from glands within the mouth that secrete a flammable liquid that combusts when it contacts air, becoming instant napalm that burns with purple flames. This is what made them the most feared race of the Anchara Empire.

The Sigma Draconians came into being before the Alpha Draconians because as stated in earlier version of the Alpha Draconian, Alpha Draconians were once selected and bred for war. What sets them apart is size, shape, and color. Sigma Draconians, since they are of the royal line, were larger and more bulkier than their Alpha Draconian counterpart and are adorned with the royal colors white, red, and gold. Alpha Draconians, as stated before, were bred for war and were given slender bodies and given darker coloration through genetic breeding and selection for when the conquered worlds at night, they blend in with the night. Both wear specially made garments when flying to avoid a catastrophic malfunction from garments getting sucked into their engines like birds getting sucked into airliner engines. The scaly skin of both the Alpha and Sigma acts as body armor and are virtually immune to Terran weaponry. Both ruled over the Anchara Empire for 35 million years before becoming members of the Galactic Federation of Light in the mid 1990's. They, like all draconians and dinosaurians, speak with extremely coarse and guttural voices, accompanied by different growls and hisses. Draconian and dinosaurian eyesight is so great that during the many wars between the Galactic Federation of Light, their was no need to put scopes on their weapons and headshots were as easy as killing insects with a magnifying glass.

In this scene, two Alphas are accompanying a Sigma for protection as its an instinct of Alphas to coexist with their larger and more superior relatives. One of these days I'll post some history about the Anchara Empire and until then, Stay Scaly, and spread the Draconian love my minions!

Looks like someone has been doing his research. Interesting way to compare the Quimbaya artifacts to an race of extraterrestrial dragons. I could do a redesign of both the Sigma and Alpha Draconians with similarities to such ancient aircraft. Thanks for the tip.👽

I more have a habit of remembering the darnest things~

It'd be pretty cool! Some kind of look it to me as-is from little details: little curls here, peculiar foot-bits there... just stylized.

Dude, I saw the thumbnail and was like: Aww, someone finally beat my butt to the jet dragons.... and they... are... awesooooome! They're so sleek~ It manages to look organic in a way without compromising the look. Recognizeable as what they are even from a tiny gallery thumb.

Your 'saurs are pretty rad, too.

I need to call LightConcorde !
