Tell me there is something
Some wild, outrageous
Out-of-this-world act
That is seemingly impossible to do
Something
That defies what is known
About limits and expectation
That will push the limits
Of what could and should be done
Tell me that there
Is something
I am incapable of doing
And dare me
Dare me to do so
Dare me to shock and amaze
All the skeptics and
Serenade them with
Their own
“ooh”s and “aah”s
In a symphony of awe
Conducted by my
Ability to do
What could not
And should not be done
By me
Tell me my limits
Tell me that there is
Something
I cannot do
And maybe
If I have some spare time
I will show you
I can

It's very captivating, and hopeful. You push the borders of expectations making hard things seem possible. I like the phrase, "dare me to shock and amaze/ all the skeptics and/ serenade them..." It's so musical!
