This is about as close as you can get to fall foliage in west Florida. I'm sure there are trees in the northern part of the state that maybe have a a little more of a dramatic color shift than this, but for us, this is about as good as it gets. We have a maple tree in our backyard and you would think that would change color pretty drastically, but the leaves sort of brown up a little and then just fall off the tree.
Taken at Lake Seminole Park on a foggy and serene morning. I got plenty of reflection shots as well; you can see how still and clear the water is (except for where the ducks photobombed me). I love mornings like this.
