I was sitting outside sipping chamomile tea with dad and the Moon popped out from behind a really thick cloud and luckily, I had my camera with me...the case has almost become an extension of my body at this point.
There's a gnarly oak tree in our neighbor's yard across the street and I snapped about thirty shots; this is one of the two keepers. This took a lot of editing to bring out the details, and the Moon is a little over-exposed, but I'm really happy with it. I love surreal shots like this!

I did a quick cartoon-style doodle of this photo, too.
