as I’ve mentioned before, the events of Transformers Prime, although with minor differences, ultimately still happen in the AU in which Helix and Deadbeat exist. After Predacons Rising, though, the timelines begin to diverge more and more essentially making RID2015 not canon in this universe. One big change is the fate of Soundwave, who, for lack of a better description, is in a coma in Helix and Starscream’s basement.
the idea for this goes to my boyfriend deepseacreep who wrote the short fic that details this event! I’d include an excerpt, ideally, but I know he wants to rewrite it sometime so it shall remain private for now.
