i think the most interesting part of this photo
is the light that shows the shapes of the moth's body and wings.
excellent warm colors and you have to admit it. you were lucky

This is a beautiful and moving shot. Having the moth off in the corner of the photo echoes how moths and other insects often creep into the periphery of our lives. But how often do we really focus on them and see their beauty. I'm glad you took the time to focus on this moth and share it with us.

The composition in this picture is just so beautiful. The blurriness of the background and the sharp, yet soft and extremly detailed moth. Very well done

What an excellent capture - I'm truely sorry that I missed then when it was a daily deviation - I feel like I've missed out on all the fun associated with that
Love what you've done manipulation wise - how the background feels like it's on fire, and how the insect feels 'cool'. The burning you've done with the tones makes it look like a forest fire that the insect is escaping - flying away to avoid the chaos down below. The clarity and high levels of detail that you've captured in the foreground are lovely - this is an impressive capture!

You've captured the tiny details of the butterfly very well. This is an interesting photograph to watch because there's such a huge textural difference between the bg and the butterfly. And the title gives the photo a beautiful meaning.
In my opinion the butterfly would look more wild if it had more empty space around it. Now it's just in the corner. The upper and the left borders could be further. But of course it's impossible to move them unless this is a cropping.

thank you very much, but i thought its better for the composition to be in a corner than just hanging "free around in the room"... hope you get what i mean...

i really like this, its so pretty! the orange tones in the tree compliment the pretty greenish yellowy butterfly nicely.

I really like the effect you've created. The ton of the photograph is very nice too, a warm sunset, to my eye. It reminds me that fall is coming. The butterfly's green colours and its dark structure look very gracious together... Anyway, I think this is a beautiful shot and a good idea.
