I FINALLY FINISHED THIS!!! Took me long enough.
I got to experiment a bit with watercolors in this. I couldn't figure out how to color in the clouds with copics without doing too much to them so I decided to attempt with watercolor, a media I'm not familiar with at all, and it actually worked pretty well.
The only problem was that some of it came out so light that not even my scanner could pick some of the color up. Therefore, I had to go back over it in GIMP and airbrush it back on there. XP Other than that, I went traditional nearly all the way except for a lens flare I added in the background behind the rainbow.
I'm still working on traditional backgrounds though. I may just go back to my traditional-drawn&colored characters/photoshopped background style until I get more practice with just traditional.
Nonetheless, I hope you like it!

Thanks! And yeah, probably because I usually don't try to traditionally put in my own background. I admit, I need more practice, but I'm glad you still like it nonetheless.

Always nice to see peolpe drawing more pictures of my original character Realm. I love how the water colors came out. I got a set my self for the holidays and I have been meaning to use them but haven't done so yet. How difficult are they use in your opinion? Thanks so much for drawing my art request.

It's really hard for me to say considering I don't have much experience using watercolors myself, and it's not really my preferred media at that. However, the more I try to use it, the easier it gets for me to learn how to work with it. I think it just takes a bit of practice, but some people can work magic with watercolors like crazy. lol

Haha, thanks! I hope so. I haven't done a lot of other drawing besides this due to time constraints and lack of motivation. I'm hoping transferring to another college for specifically art next year will change that, but we'll see.
