Let me confess in something. I love Power Rangers. No, I REALLY do love this stupid show! It's like Van Gogh's paintings to me - contemporaries found his works too primitive and vulgar, but I think it's so kitschy it's brilliant (and I probably will burn in hell for comparing Van Gogh with Power Rangers, but I don't care ^__^)Anyway, this work about my fave characters from Power Rangers S.P.D. - Jack and Z. I sacrificed some of resemblance making them more cartoonish for additional dynamics. The guy is phasing through solid objects, btw. Even if this work won't catch anyone's interst, I'm glad I did it. It was a real joy to work on it, the whole reflection of my spring mood ^__^
The work is done half in SAI, half in Photoshop - I experimented with filters and layer styles a little bit.

This is a beautiful artwork. I haven't watched power rangers in years but this could easily be a cover of a comic book. Very cool.

Jack and phase through object, Sky can create barriers, Bridge can track residual energy, Z can duplicate herself at least two times at any one moment. and Sydney can coat her fist with any earth mineral. Oh and Sam can turn into a ball of light and teleport himself and other objects.
One of the better series of PR.
I admit though my favorite is a tie between Ninja Storm and Mystic Force.

Nice pic! I'm not familiar with this incarnation of Power Rangers... The last ones I watched were Time Force, and I always preferred the 'original' series. *G* I still read fanfiction for it occasionally.

Jack phasing is nicely done though perhaps a couple more Z's trailing behind the one in front might have emphasised HER power too!
