Description
My latest complete custom is Derpy Hooves! I know she's been done a few times before, but I couldn't resist making my own.I've finally gotten better at doing smooth paint jobs. She does have a nick in her paint on the bottom of her right rear hoof, unfortunately.
Her head is still fully turnable, and she has been sealed up with matte medium (:

ok thanks
I saw there was a purple with yellow mane pony so I was wondering why people never use her !

She has the wrong hair plug style and for her to become a proper Derpy she's have to be rehaired and repainted anyway! Lily Blossom's blonde hair is actually two-tone, unlike Derpy's-- and that purple body isn't exactly the right gray. So it'll be the same amount of work one way or another.
(This custom was also made before Lily Blossom was released!)

Oh okay I didn't know that could be so complicated
( they still look really similar in the show, purple with blond hair )

I am going to ask what you used for the paint job, in terms of color type, and in terms of brush type

I used Liquitex acrylics. Derpy's basecoat was just white and black mixed in with a touch of blue. I paint the bodies with a fairly large and flat extra-soft brush to make sure it applies smoothly. I hope that helps!

I was thinking of using a fairly large brush at first, then using an airbrush at the end to even everything out. Thanks for the exact paint, turns out I had a bunch of Liquitex in the same shade for when I did the sidewalks for my model railroad, so that works out well.

I'm not yet open for commissions, but a Derpy will probably go for ~35 USD plus shipping

This Derpy was one-of-a-kind and has already been sold, but I will be opening commissions in the near future.
