Description
Well, I think this is my best coloring job yet... the scan wasn't too good. though. The Paper seemed to curl underneath it... I'll do a better scan when it's done.Related content

I like the colors and the way her fur lays against her body. She looks very fluffy...

This is by far my favorite in the gallery... which is saying a lot 'cause you've got a lot of awesome stuff up! I love the pose and the colors! Truly fantastic job.

Thanks. It's my best coloring job to date. It was a learning experience, which is funny cause I did this whole pick on a greyhound bus.... maybe that's where my magic comes from

Hehe.. perhaps! Though I find that busses can be both helpful and detrimental. There have been plenty of times where busses have caused me to make stray marks that end up looking *better* than I had initially wanted them. Then again, it can also mess up a great picture if that very same stroke happens to slash a line across the page. *Shrugs*

Well, all of mine start out as just sketches... I think the biggest thing I get from travelling on the bus is my ideas... 1 hour 15 min a day of nothing but thinking makes me come up with more interesting poses... But either way... Thanks.

Thank you. This one is definately a start in my colored pencil art. I'm planning on scanning some of my oil paintings soon to. I'm glad you like my art.

I'd love to see your paintings. I'm not against oil, just don't have the patience to wait for my layers to dry, which is why I do acrylics...which of course presents it's own problems, lol. Rather than scan I just photograph my paintings. I also take them to a professional scanner and pay for them to be scanned for print use later should I desire (they are insanely expensive to scan and print. Example..."Fires Over Zion," my 2X4 foot tigress would cost $200 to scan and $200 to print, and "Skin Shifter" 18X24" cost me $50 to scan and $75 to print-OUCH!). So I photograph them at high rez quality under decent light conditions (mid-day, not to bright), color correct in photoshop, and can make good 8.5X11" prints that way for fans, and also show a nice image on the Internet.

That's kinda cool. Maybe I'll do that... If I ever have the money... but I can take a pic when I buy some film, just to give an idea what they look like.

Oh, and overcast days make the best for photographing canvases.

Ok, but if you do take a picture with regular film, I suggest not using flash if possible and taking the painting outside.
