This was a commission piece done for someone wanting to bring attention to and make some noise over the issue of Alyson Court being replaced as Claire Redfield's voice actor in the upcoming remake of Resident Evil 2, particularly 2 petitions you can find below.
I followed direction of having it be classic RE2 Claire in a classic recognizable RE2 setting that I think people will enjoy remembering and looking at and I took the liberty to add the tongue of a licker as a sort of explanation to why she's being choked and losing her voice, the licker can represent a sort of corporate irresponsibility that is behind this whole issue (It also has the appeal of looking like tentacle porn, so maybe more people will click this image lol)

To have the REmake, something made FOR the fans, not feature Alyson court, the important and fan-favourite actor behind Claire, because Capcom decided to sell the localization rights to a company only hiring non-union workers (a largely disagreeable and some consider disrespectful and even unethical move) feels like a huge insult to the fans who made the series as popular as it is

Fans are hoping in the best case scenario that Capcom will listen and bring Alyson back for the RE2 remake before it's finished, but at the very least are just hoping to make some noise in support of not only Alyson but all union actors who deserve a good working environment and a good and fair wage for the work they do and that companies, especially producers of AAA titles like Capcom, support these union actors
