Description Stairway in an interior courtyard in uptown Dallas. The detailing is nice for an area exposed to rain and ice. I go to this area a lot with my friend * zachster . Kinda upscale. Enjoy!

Cool. Really nice tones, I'm just wondering would it be nicer if you can see more of the stairs, so you can see it leads to somewhere, so it'll add more mysterious factor?

Great perspective and angled shot. The hues of green add a forest like feel to a scene that would have been empty had it been in grayscale. Looks like a comfortable place to be on a rainy day. Every line is slightly curved, an interesting effect you've achieved and the lighting is above par. Very well done, definitely a favourite.

Interesting angle communicating a good sense of the way the space is defined, from the curving of the rails and gently winding stairs to including parts of the upper storeys. The green colorisation fits somehow with the decorative railings and works with the glass paneling to the right of the stairs, giving a subdued air, but which also brings in the lightness of the architecture (sunlight from the upper left.)

The composition on this shot is well done, I like it. On the downside, I don't think the excess exposure on the upper-left part adds to the photo - it'd be great if there was some detail there. As with all critics, others will surely think differently - it's just a matter of what works for me.

Overall, I like what you did here. The choice of mono tones allows one to focus on the structure and removes possible distractions. It turns out like an interesting shot.

Cheers.

ps: if you like, I'd appreciate critiques on any photo here .

thanks for commenting on this photo. The extreme over exposure at the top was the result of post-production. Otherwise, you can see everything in the photo.

I had seen this one on the forums a few days ago and i said to myself "look at that photo!it's like one of those i use for my school projects takes from professional sites!!"

Which btw you can use to sell your fotos if i'm not mistaken.
The green filter was a smart thing for it looks more nature like addins to all those swirlly shapes of the staircase!!

Another artist that has to lay down on the floor to make a good art piece
