Description
This is the Aztec god Quetzalcoatl. He is known as the god of the wind and I think the creator god...I'm not 100% sure. He is described as a giant winged and feathered serpent. He was part of that quetzal picture [link] for the Aztecs believed that the Resplendent Quetzal had a connection with Quetzalcoatl.EDIT: People have been saying that he's the god of destruction...so yeah. I think it's true, but I don't know. I guess my source of information wasn't all that reliable...

Your information is mostly right. He's not the god of destruction, tough (taht's Huitzilopochtli).

Hmm, there's a monster in Final Fantasy 8 called Quetzalcoatl or at least a name that sounds a lot like Quetzalcoatl. In the game, he does some sort of lightening thunder attack.
Errm, anyway... you have me blown away with all the detail in the feathers, scales, etc. I wish I had the patience to do all that. xD;;
